Central Pa. man dies in lawnmower accident

A man is dead after becoming trapped beneath a lawnmower Saturday in Lebanon County, according to reports. 

Ralph Schreiber, 66, died in the accident at Alden Place retirement community, according to Cornwall Borough police. 

Schreiber, the co-owner of Schreiber Lawn & Landscape Maintenance, was cutting grass when the mower slid into a creek and overturned, ultimately trapping and killing him, police said. 

The exact time of the accident is unknown, but one of Schreiber's employees discovered the overturned mower and called authorities around 12:22 p.m., police said. 

Lebanon County Coroner Jeffrey Yocum pronounced Schreiber dead a the scene.
