Wendy's second location now open for drive-thru services only at this time

Update: The new location at 2812 N. Bryant Blvd. is open as of July 14, 2020, for drive-thru services only at this time.
SAN ANGELO — Wendy's is planning a second location in town to open in April 2020.
The 2,485 square foot building is valued to be $800,000, according to the City of San Angelo building permit records available online.
The new location will be at 2812 N. Bryant Blvd. by Walgreens on W. 29th Street.
The commercial business applied for the building permit on Aug. 9, 2019 and is under plan review.
Glen Brandeburg, President of Heritage Partners Group, projects the restaurant to open in April 2020.
Heritage Partners Group is an investment and operations platform that partners with the world’s most enduring consumer brands. The group became franchisees of Wendy's in March 2017.
"The city of San Angelo blew me away," Brandeburg said. "What a great, growing community it is. We have had very good success with our existing restaurant. We know it's a community we had high on our list early on; it really lines up with what we are trying to accomplish as a brand."
