A Greencastle-area dollar store was the third stop on a Chambersburg man's robbery spree, according to state police.

Steven Revelle, 47, is charged in Franklin County with first- and second-degree felony robbery and a misdemeanor count each of terroristic threats, theft by unlawful taking and simple assault, according to court records.

Revelle is currently in Cumberland County Prison, where he has been since his arrest in early September following his suspected robbery of a convenience store in that county, according to court records.

Police were contacted shortly before 10 p.m. Sept. 4 regarding a robbery that had just taken place at Dollar General, 14415 Molly Pitcher Highway, Antrim Township.

At the scene, a manager described seeing a man, later identified as Revelle, waiting at a register. She called a sales associate, who went to the register.

The sales associate told police Revelle said "put the money in the bag, you're being robbed," according to court documents. The employee said he was shocked, and Revelle told him "you need to hurry up and put the money in the bag."

The employee said Revelle wore sunglasses and had his right hand behind his back, and he feared the suspect was hiding a weapon.

The sales associate said he took about $300 from the drawer and put it in a yellow Dollar General plastic bag. Revelle took the bag and left.

Upon reviewing the surveillance footage at the Dollar General, police recognized Revelle from a photo of a robbery suspect at a gas station in Hagerstown, Maryland, on Sept. 2.

Police were also able to connect Revelle to a Super Mart Robbery through reviewing surveillance footage.

A search warrant was issued for Revelle's 2011 Hyundai Tuscan, where officers discovered a yellow plastic Dollar General bag, Ironman sunglasses, a five-dollar bill and nineteen one-dollar bills.

Revelle is scheduled to appear before Magisterial District Judge Duane Cunningham on Tuesday for a preliminary hearing.
