Waynesboro man found dead in Greene Township pond

UPDATE: The Waynesboro man was Micheal Dieugenio, according to Franklin County Coroner Jeff Conner.

A Waynesboro man was found dead in a pond on Saturday in Greene Township.

Units were dispatched before noon to the 100 block of Siloam Road for what the caller described as a dead man floating face down in a pond.

The 53-year-old man's identity has not yet been released by authorities.

State police did say there was no immediate sign of a struggle or injury and did not believe there was any danger to the public.
