Here at Citrix, we work hard to ensure we can provide Day 0 support for Apple’s latest releases. That’s why we’re happy to share that the Citrix Workspace app for iOS version 19.9.0 supports iOS 13 and iPadOS.

So, what’s new with Citrix Workspace app for iOS 13 and iPadOS?

We’ve made our Citrix Workspace app faster, more responsive, and more engaging, aligning it with the new features and changes in iOS 13. Here are some of the highlights:

AssistiveTouch Support with Citrix X1 Mouse

You can now use the Citrix X1 Mouse in full desktop mode while in a session and use AssistiveTouch leaving the session or the app. Check out the Citrix X1 Mouse documentation and this X1 Mouse blog post.

Improved User Experience

We’ve improved the user experience, squashing a few bugs along the way to enable better performance. This includes changes like the ability to open an ICA file from a Safari web browser. Learn more about the experience here.

Finally, some important notes. iPadOS features additional capabilities that take advantage of the iPad’s unique functionality. Also, the Citrix CR01 and R1 apps are not supported on iOS 13. If you’re using one of these apps, we recommend that you not upgrade to iOS 13.

We’re excited to be able to support Apple’s iOS 13 release. Don’t forget, you can always get up-to-date technical information on the Citrix Workspace app for iOS product documentation page.
