Rifle, pillow used in attack on woman, York City Police say
Police are looking for Basilio Gutierrez-Tiru, 36, wanted for allegedly using a pillow to strangle a woman and pointing a rifle at her.
York City Police are seeking the public's help in locating a man accused of attacking a woman on Saturday night with a pillow and a rifle, according to a news release.
Basilio Gutierrez-Tiru, 36, faces charges of strangulation, terroristic threats, simple assault and harassment.
About 8:34 p.m. on Saturday, York City Police responded to a residence, where they spoke with a female victim. The woman told police that while at home, Gutierrez-Tiru, whom she knew previously, arrived and began arguing with her, the release states.

"This argument became physical and during this physical altercation Tiru struck the victim multiple times with a closed fist, and pulled the victim's hair causing bruises on her legs, arms, chest, and chin," according to the news release.
Gutierrez-Tiru then put a pillow over the victim's face, preventing her from being able to breathe, and told her that if he saw her with another man or if she called police, he would kill her, the release states.
Gutierrez-Tiru "had a rifle with him which he had pointed at the victim during this altercation," the release states.
He then ran away.
