NCBA names Woodall CEO

The National Cattlemen’s Beef Association has named Colin Woodall as its next Chief Executive Officer.

Woodall has been with the organization since 2004 and has most recently served as the vice president, government affairs.   In his new role, he’ll also lead NCBA’s checkoff, communications, and beef promotion efforts.  Woodall succeeds Kendal Frazier, who announced his retirement earlier this year.

Ethan Lane has been named the new vice president, government affairs, the position previously held by Woodall.  Prior to today’s announcement he had served as executive director of the Public Lands Council and NCBA Federal Lands where he was the driving force behind several of the organization’s policy efforts.  In his new position, Lane will continue to guide NCBA’s policy in Washington, DC.
