[productsample/affiliatelink] I don’t really know where to start with this!
I mean, how stunning is this bottle? I have a sample size here from the brand with a similar marbling effect, inspired by Ksenia Penkina, a Canadian patisserie artist, whose Instagram account will make you hungrier than you can imagine. She does things with icing that I’ve only every really seen with Murano glass – so intricate and shiny it defies belief.
My poor efforts to capture the marbling meets sugar don’t do this justice! The fragrance is not the saccharine rush you might expect but the olfactory reference to cake is there. Keep Glazed is predominantly a blend of mango, coconut, ginger and lemon, but it’s sweetly milky – maybe donut-ish – that softens out all the anticipated sugar. There’s something about it that reminds me of the milk bottle sweets – which is not necessarily something I’d pay £190 to smell of, but they’re very more-ish, as is Keep Glazed. It’s not a vanilla laden, gourmande style, confectionery mimicking fragrance at all, instead it’s smoothly soothing, quietly enveloping and somewhat confounding. I don’t actually know if I like it or not, but I keep going back to my wrist to smell it more. So, make of that what you will!
