Cooler winds blow in overnight

Rain begins Thursday morning

PORTLAND, Oregon — Portland hit 77-degrees Tuesday, tying March 18 for the second warmest day of the year so far.

Morning clouds Wednesday ensure a cooler day, with highs in the 60s. There should be afternoon sunbreaks.

Rain sets in Thursday and highs will suddenly only be in the 50s.

There should be a break from the rain later Friday into early Saturday, but more rain sets in Saturday night and Sunday.

The Northwest stays in a generally cool, wet pattern through next week.

Have a great Wednesday.
