EVANSVILLE, Ind. — A 15-year-old boy was taken to the hospital after being shot Thursday night outside Lodge School, Evansville Police said. 

The shooting was reported to Central Dispatch at 8:13 p.m. and officers found the shooting victim with a single gunshot wound to the left arm at Lodge and Conlin avenues, according to an Evansville Police report.

The teen was taken to a local hospital for treatment for non-life-threatening injuries.

Offers followed the blood trail from where the teen was found and it led to the parking lot of Lodge School, 2000 block of Lodge Ave. Multiple shell casings were found by police.

Police searched for the shooter after the shooting but no arrest was made. Several witnesses were interviewed at the scene, and the incident remains under investigation.
