Deputies arrested Morgan on Tuesday evening after questioning him at his residence about pawning items taken from his former employer and different burglaries reported in Naples Park over the past few days.

Morgan confessed to taking lights from a business on the 4300 block of Enterprise Avenue and bringing them to a pawn shop, according to the arrest report. Morgan told deputies he retrieved the items from a pawn shop and gave them to another person but did not know what happened to them.

The firearm was recovered under a tree behind a business close to where the burglary occurred.

Deputies transported Morgan to the Naples Jail Center where he has remained in custody as of Wednesday morning.
