Cree Uprising golf tournament

The Cree Meadows Ladies Association hosted the 30th Annual Cree Uprising Golf Tournament at Cree Meadows Country Club on July 28-30, 2019.  

This was a two-lady partnership tournament that was a two-day one low net and low gross format. The field had 50 teams from all over the Southwest making up five flights of competition.

The winners in each flight were as follows:

Fourth Flight: Third Net – Melanie Walker and Gladys LaBelle; Third Gross – Karen McDonald and Janis Harkins; Second Net – Susan Taylor and Linda Nenno; Second Gross – Sylvia Ware and Nancy Burch; First Net – Bonnie Lassiter and Katie Clements; and First Gross – Sherrin Evans and Connie Henderson.

Third Flight:  Third Net – Cheryl Knobel and Theresa Abbott; Third Gross – Dianna Gandy and Jenny Woelffer; Second Net – Barbara Gossage and Doris Jones; Second Gross – Mary Parra and Nora Romero; First Net – Becky Grzelachowski and Brenda Alvarez; and First Gross – Wanda Giles and Sharon Frye.

Second Flight:  Third Net – Janice Snow and Jan White; Third Gross – Dana Larson and Patsy Smith; Second Net – Patty Doporto and Debra Tapley; Second Gross – Marilyn Drake and Marsha Long; First Net – Kathy Garber and Rita Arnold; and First Gross – Gail Stillwell and Karen Brasfield.

First Flight: Third Net – Marita Hynes and Carole Wall; Third Gross – Debbie Cran and Michele Alsup; Second Net – Sandy Erwin and Sandra Barrett; Second Gross – Christine Voliva and Mimi Neaman; First Net – Genevieve Trujillo and Ana DeCoste; and First Gross – Vicky Bouvet and Linda Hale.

Championship Flight – Third Net – Penny Jumonville and Janie McGuire; Third Gross – Denise Johns and Luisa Tubbs; Second Net – Barbara Lumley and Becky Luco; Second Gross – Cheryl Henson and LeeAnne Henson; First Net – Joni Markham and Kay Doss; and First Gross – Claudia Creel and Melissa Gonzales

Low Net over the field was won by Linda Warnack-Boucher and Sandi Adams, Silver City Golf Club, with a total net score of 106. 

Low Gross over the field was won by Lynette Ballas and Diane Tiedgen, from New Mexico State University, with a total gross score of 143.
