“Well, it seemed like a good idea at the time…”

Who hasn’t said that after a plan made with the best of intentions or the highest hopes went seriously sideways? It’s almost a daily experience for me.

“Messing up” makes for some of the most memorable stories. And those experiences are important because they help us learn and grow as human beings. They can also be pretty funny – though usually in retrospect.

Hear tales about messing up Sept. 10 at Wyndridge Farm.

So, messing up seemed like a natural theme for one of our York Storytellers Project events.

On Sept. 10, seven community members will share their tales of trouble and tribulation.

The stories range from a serious sledding slip-up to a chicken farming fail – and all manner of other misadventures (some of which actually have happy endings).

You don’t want to miss this evening of live storytelling at Wyndridge Farm. A few tickets remain, but they’re going fast, so don’t wait. Otherwise, you’ll be saying, “Well, procrastinating seemed like a good idea at the time.”
