Two men were apprehended by police last weekend after a robbery and assault that occurred near Sheetz on Loudon Street in Chambersburg.

Cody Diehl, 22, of Chambersburg and Sabastian Reed, 18, of Waynesboro are both facing felony counts of robbery and criminal conspiracy.

The victim said he was punched in the face, a blow that knocked him to the ground. A man later identified as Diehl then put him in a headlock and told him "don't move or I will snap your neck," according to a police report.

Reed then took a cellphone, wallet and pocket knife from the victim's pocket, according to the victim.

Both suspects ran from the scene, but were apprehended soon after by police.

The victim sustained injuries to his right elbow and left knee from falling after he was punched.

Diehl remains in Franklin County Jail, unable to post $75,000 bail. Reed also remains in jail on $30,000 bail.

Both are scheduled to appear for a preliminary hearing before Magisterial District Judge Todd Williams on Aug. 27.
