Orozco, an Oxnard resident, is prohibited from possessing firearms or ammunition as a documented member of a gang, according to police. During the officers’ interaction with Orozco, they allegedly located a loaded 12-gauge shotgun. The firearm was unregistered, officials said.

Orozco was arrested on suspicion of a felony firearms violation and remained in Ventura County jail Saturday morning with bail set at $50,000, jail records showed.
