A young girl told investigators that a man from western Pennsylvania molested her in Franklin County.

Edward Priecko, 56, of Donora is facing multiple felony counts, including aggravated indecent assault of a child less than 13-years-old, corruption of minors and others, according to court records.

During an interview in May at the Over the Rainbow Child Advocacy Center, the girl was shown drawings of a female body and asked to identify the places where Priecko had allegedly touched her, according to court documents. She said Priecko had touched her "bug-bug," while pointing to the genital area on a drawing.

The victim told authorities that Priecko abused her at her mother's home.

Priecko was interviewed by police in July. He said he had been holding the girl and patting her back while she slept, until her older sisters came in the room to wake her up.

He also told authorities he had placed a hand behind her head and one on her crotch area to "keep her from falling."

Priecko waived his preliminary hearing last week, meaning he will move toward trial. He is scheduled to appear before Judge Angela Krom in the Court of Common Pleas for a formal arraignment on Aug. 14.

The defendant remains in jail through court proceedings, as he could not afford the $100,000 bail set by Magisterial District Judge Kelly Rock.
