CHARLOTTE — Witnesses will testify Tuesday in the Michigan Attorney General's felony case against former Michigan State University President Lou Anna Simon, who is accused of lying to police during their investigation into how MSU handled Larry Nassar. 

Court officials say Tuesday is the final day set aside for her preliminary examination, which began in February and has stretched nearly six months through objection-laden testimony.

Eaton County District Judge Julie Reincke will use testimony from the hearing, now in its seventh day, when determining whether to send Simon's case to Circuit Court for trial.
