35% of Indiana corn, 36% of soybeans rated good to excellent

Warm temperatures and scattered rainfall hurt crop development in Indiana last week.

Twenty-three percent of Indiana’s corn crop has begun to silk, and 35 percent of the crop is rated good to excellent.

Twenty-one percent of the soybean crop has started to bloom, and one percent is setting pods. The crop is 36 percent good to excellent. Ninety-two percent of the winter wheat crop has been harvested.
