Sprinkles with Vellum

Hi there! Today I’m sharing this fun happy day card that I made with sprinkles with vellum. The sprinkles are part of the fabulous collection that you can see in Kat Scrappiness Store. Let me show you my card:

To create this card I used three different colors of card stock. I used Real Red card stock for the card base, whisper white for the second layer y soft suede for the die cut letters. I cut the second layer using the large zig zag rectangles dies and pasted it directly over the card base.

Then using the Happy Mother’s Day die cut, I cut and edit the sentiment. I just cut the connected letters and stretched my dies. I keep these a side for a while to give me time of create the tiny square bags that I made using vellum and the small size of the zig zag squares dies.

I placed into each bag different sprinkles. I used the Strawberry Sprinkles, the Grape Sprinkles and the Watermelon Sliced Sprinkles. I arranged all the vellum bags over the card and added the sentiment. As final touch, I just added some Lemon Slice Sprinkles on the right corner of the card.
