Grants of $100,000 were given to Sklarczyk Seed Farm in Johannesburg for a new greenhouse, culture lab, and potato storage facility; and Bessemer Plywood Corporation of Bessemer for building additions.

Funding was also awarded to Hudsonville Creamery and Ice Cream Company of Holland to purchase new packaging equipment; West Thomas Partners of Grand Rapids for new processing equipment; and Maple Drive Farms in Addison for new machinery to clean and package teff grain.
