Elemis Neroli Pro-Collagen Cleansing Balm Review

It's true you don't know what you have until it's gone, especially when it comes to a good cleanser. We all have our preferences but in my opinion very little beats taking my make-up off at the end of the day with a rich yet gentle cleansing balm. One of my all time favourites, Elemis Pro-Collagen Cleansing Balm has not only become supersized but also features a new star ingredient and fragrance.

How could I possibly say no to Elemis Neroli Pro-Collagen Cleansing Balm? I mean would you just look at that perfectly peach-pink packaging and tell me you aren't tempted?

The beauty of a cleansing balm is that you can't help but feel like you are being pampered, even if it is in the smallest of bathrooms. As balms of this nature emulsify from a solid product to an oil based cleanser, you can all but be assured it will swiftly remove all traces of make-up, SPF and of course daily dirt and grime; couple that with the fact a little goes a long way and you really can't go wrong.

Elemis Neroli Pro-Collagen Cleansing Balm Review

There are of course hundreds, if not thousands, of cleansing balm varieties out there with various price tags and claims but one of the very few I buy time and time again, is the Elemis Pro-Collagen Cleansing Balm in any of its various guises.

Why? It works.

In fact it does more than that. The stellar ingredient line up such as anti-ageing algae which with continuous use can plump and soften fine lines. In the instance of the new Elemis Neroli Pro-Collagen Cleansing Balm, we also have the addition of neroli oil (of course), which is great for inflammation and stress. This is coupled with refreshing and skin illuminating, orange wax, fig and lemon verbena oleo extracts. I also find the texture to be as close to perfection as possible: it is neither too soft in that you have a gooey puddle come the first sign of sunshine, nor is it so firm you lose a nail trying to scoop a little out. Unlike some other cleansers of this persuasion it doesn't leave behind any residue and is deeply moisturising too - so much so I have used this in the past as a deep cleansing face mask.

Basically cancel your next appointment with your facialist because with the Elemis Neroli Pro-Collagen Cleansing Balm you have everything you could possibly need for smooth, soft and deeply cleansed skin at your very fingertips.

Did I mention it also smells great? In my mind there is no fragrance house more indulgent than Tom Ford and what scent note do they heavily rely upon? Neroli of course. The soft, floral note is both uplifting and relaxing and if perfectly suited to both morning and evening cleanses.
