A nationwide store is trying to make back-to-school shopping a little easier for local parents.

On Sunday, July 21, TCC stores in central Pennsylvania will be giving out up to 200 free backpacks at each location. The backpacks will be filled with pencils, paper, pencil box, folders, glue and more.

From 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday, TCC stores in Dillsburg, Ephrata, Etters, Gettysburg, Hanover, Lebanon, Manchester, Palmyra, Red Lion, Shippensburg, Shrewsbury and York will be handing out free backpacks to kids accompanied by adults.

This is the seventh year TCC has donated backpacks to families across the country. The chain distributes approximately 140,000 backpacks each year.
