This is my 1966 Willys Pickup. It has been converted to a Toyota 3B Diesel engine & 40 Series Land Cruiser gearbox & transfer case I also put a two-piece windscreen in it for a more vintage look.
Although these trucks ceased production in 1964 this was built in Jan 1966. I’m guessing sales were very slow after the new Gladiator came out in 1963. I’ve heard a few stories about the production in the Brisbane factory so when restoring it I found a few parts that are different than what is supposed to be on these Pickups like the front spring pivot eye bush & pin. Also the rear differential is a little wider so that may have been originally for a Forward Control. None of this surprises me from what I’ve heard, they just use what they could find on the shelf, this would have been one of the last ever made. Parts bins would not likely have the exact parts they needed.

Looking for, Willys Jeep Parts, Willys Jeep replacement parts, Willys Jeep body parts and much more for your 1941-1971 Willys vehicle, you have come to the right place!
I have one of these and it looks exactly alike. It has a wood tray at the back instead of metal, it has a side valve inline 6 but the seats, steering wheel, and speedometer was stolen and i want to fix it up. im not sure what year it is and i cant find the serial number to find what year it is because of snakes and spiders.(It has sat in a shed since 1970 and has perfect paint. could you help me with parts and what model/ year it is?
As a Willys ,landcruiser fan I marvel at the ability’s of those Aussie bush macanics Steve
