Amazon Prime Day started this morning at 12am, and is in full swing! There are already some fantastic travel gear deals, with more to come on Day 2 tomorrow. Here are my favorite deals (updating throughout the day as needed).

Note: Most of these deals are for a limited time only and are available only for Prime members. You can try Prime free for 30 days if you’re not a member!

Electronics

Kindle Paperwhite. My beloved Paperwhite is on sale from $89 to $59, a GREAT DEAL and critical for any frequent traveler who loves to read.

Fire tablet. On sale from $49 to $29

Other Amazon devices. While these aren’t necessarily great for travel, they are still great deals! Amazon devices like the Echo Dot, Fire TV Stick, and the Toshiba 43” Ultrasharp TV–Fire TV Edition are all up to 63% off.

Here are a few other electronic travel necessities that have huge savings right now:

• True Wireless Noise Canceling Earbuds. A GREAT deal, normally $50 and on sale for $32. (Or try this less expensive pair.)
• Sony Wireless Noise Canceling Headphones. Also a great deal! Normally $199, on sale for $89.
• Lightning Cables. Amazon branded, only $8. Stock up!

Luggage

Travelpro. Two excellent carryon suitcases for business travelers by Travelpro are on sale. The Maxlite 5 International Carryon is normally $139 but on sale for $110 (21% discount) and my favorite suitcase, the Crew 11 20” Carryon is normally $440 but on sale for $162 (a whopping 63% discount!). 

Samsonite. Perennial reader favorite Samsonite has luggage sets for up to 60% off, and also has two fantastic individual options for business travelers on sale for Prime Day: the Winfield 2 Hardside Spinner Carryon is typically $159 but on sale for $89 (44% discount) and the Leverage LTE Expandable Softside Carryon is typically $189 but on sale for $109 (43% discount).

Delsey Paris. Another frequent reader favorite, the Delsey Paris  Helium Titanium Hardside International Spinner is normally $179 but on sale for $112 (38% discount). 

Packing cubes. There are  a couple of brands of packing cubes with big discounts too: Hynes Eagle and Alameda.

Clothes

There are some great deals to be found, especially in the Amazon “Our Brands” section where things are up to 15% off. Here are some of my favorites.

• Grace Karin Solid Long Cardigan. Perfect for airplanes and long travel days. 
• Lark and Ro Short Sleeved Fit and Flare Dress. Very cute, will pack well, and available in a variety of prints. 
• Lark and Ro Wide Leg Ponte Pant. Ideal for travel days.
• Daily Ritual Bateau Neck Dress. Another comfy yet polished option for travel days.
