Grassley expects ‘early fall’ vote on USMCA

Iowa Senator Chuck Grassley says a vote on the USMCA trade deal, before the August congressional recess, is looking less and less likely. But Grassley hopes it happens soon after that.

“This is perfectly doable in the fall, if it’s early fall,” Grassley says. “My preference was to do it before August, but fall is doable.”

Grassley says USMCA will pass the Senate quickly once the bill is received from the House.
