The Trump Administration is trying to Revive the Dangerous Keystone XL Tar Sands Oil Pipeline again.
So, the Natural Resources Defense Council NRDC is Suing them again.
The Keystone XL Tar Sands Oil Pipeline would carry 830,000 Barrels per day of some of the Dirtiest Crude Oil on the Planet across America.
It would Destroy Pristine Wilderness and Wildlife through extracting the Oil, Negatively Impact our Climate and Human Health through Processing it, and put our Communities and Drinking Water at risk of Catastrophic Oil Spills while Transporting it.
NRDC Defeated this Harmful Pipeline in Court before, most recently in a Historic Courtroom Victory last November 2018.
But the Trump Administration and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers are attempting to recklessly Circumvent the Courtroom Victories by issuing New Permits and Approvals Without Meeting their Legal Obligation to Evaluate the Project's Potential Environmental Impacts.
So, NRDC their Partners are heading back to Court.
This latest Lawsuit, in Partnership with Five other Environmental Organizations, shows their Not Backing Down in the face of Trump's Relentless, Dangerous Attempts at Reviving the Keystone XL Pipeline.
They need to Demonstrate that the American People are Fighting against this new effort.
