Police search for man who robbed couple in their Delhi Township garage

A man and woman were approached by a man while in their garage and robbed of cash at gun point Tuesday.

DELHI TWP. — A man robbed a man and woman at gunpoint in their garage Tuesday afternoon. 

At about 4:45 p.m., Ingham County Sheriff's Office deputies responded to a call at the 2700 block of Fontaine Trail in Delhi Township, according to an Ingham County alert. A man and woman told police they were approached by a man while in their garage and robbed of cash at gun point. 

They described the suspect as an 18- to 20-year-old man wearing a blue polo-style shirt and a baseball hat, according to police. He left the area on foot.

The sheriff’s office is asking residents in the area to notify them of any security video that may have images of the man. Anyone with information is asked to call 517-676-8251.
