A man was killed Tuesday morning in a crash near the Pennsylvania-Maryland line on Interstate 81.

Maryland State Police received a call at 8:47 a.m. that a tractor-trailer had overturned and was blocking the northbound lanes in the area of mile marker 12 in Maugansville.

The driver, Juan C. Rondon, 45, of Hamilton, New Jersey, was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.

The highway reopened at about 1 a.m. after being closed for several hours.
