Family Dollar opens its 16th Montgomery store

Family Dollar plans to celebrate the opening its 16th Montgomery store next month.

The new store at 1011 Perry Hill Road will include $1 Dollar Tree merchandise, freezers and coolers as well as food, beauty, household and seasonal products.

They’re planning a grand opening July 6 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. It will feature gift basket raffles, samples and entertainment, and the first 50 customers will get a gift card and a reusable shopping bag.

“Family Dollar is proud to be part of the Montgomery community and we are excited to welcome existing and new customers to our new store,” Family Dollar spokesman Jim Van Slyke said in a release.
