91% of Indiana corn, 75% of soybeans planted

Wet conditions continued in Indiana last week.

With the corn planting window closing in some areas, farmers focused on soybean planting.

Winter wheat conditions declined slightly.

According to the USDA, 91 percent of corn is planted, and 79 percent is emerged.

Seventy-five percent of soybeans are planted, and 56 percent are emerged.

Corn is 43 percent good to excellent. Soybeans are 41 percent good to excellent and winter wheat is 48 percent good to excellent.
