Governors urge passage of USMCA

Twenty-seven governors are urging Congress to quickly pass the US Mexico Canada Agreement.

Their letter to Senate and House leaders says the USMC is critical to their states’ economies. They say it expands markets for farmers and ranchers in their states and reduces ag market barriers. The governors of Indiana, Iowa, Missouri, Nebraska, Ohio and South Dakota are among those who sent the letter.

Mexico ratified the USMCA on Wednesday.
