A 23-year-old Shreveport man is charged with kidnapping and obscenity after allegedly forcibly taking a 2-year-old girl into a pool without consent.

Robert Miller

Robert Miller was arrested on Saturday afternoon by the Shreveport Police Department and charged with simple kidnapping and obscenity.

He was taken to the Caddo Correctional Center where he was booked with no bond, and is additionally being held on a fugitive charge, according to booking records.

The charges stem from an incident that reportedly happened at the pool area of an apartment complex located in the 9200 block of Dean Road on Saturday afternoon.

Miller is accused of "forcibly" taking a 2-year-old child "who he didn't know from (the complainant), took off his clothes and took the child in to the pool" without consent, according to Miller's arrest report.
