Milk futures, cash dairy mostly lower

Milk futures on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange turned lower Friday as trade bought back oversold positions and cash trade weighed on prices.

June unchanged at $16.31.  July down two cents at $16.85.  August six cents lower at $17.17.  September down three cents at $17.44.  October through February contracts two cents lower to four cents higher.

Dry whey unchanged at $0.3625.  One trade was made at that price.

Blocks down $0.0175 at $1.7825.  Six trades were made ranging from $1.7775 to $1.7875.

Barrels up $0.0025 at $1.6050.  Twelve trades were made ranging from $1.6025 to $1.6050.

Butter down $0.0275 at $2.3650.  Ten trades were made ranging from $2.3650 to $2.38.

Nonfat dry milk down $0.0025 at $1.0525.  Two trades were made at that price.
