J.J. Watt announces engagement to Kealia Ohai with social media post

A sports power couple took their relationship to the next level during Memorial Day weekend.

Houston Texans defensive end J.J. Watt popped the question to girlfriend Kealia Ohai. And, Ohai said yes, Watt announced on social media on Sunday.

"I’m the luckiest man in the world. #SheSaidYes," Watt wrote on Twitter.

Ohai plays for the Houston Dash of the National Women's Soccer League, and has scored 27 goals since making her professional debut in 2014. Ohai also has appeared for the U.S. women's national soccer team in three games, scoring a goal in her international debut on Oct. 23, 2016. Her goal 48 seconds after entering the match as a substitute is a record for the USWNT.

Watt is a three-time NFL defensive player of the year. He earned the Walter Payton Man of the Year Award in 2017 for his fundraising efforts in the aftermath of Hurricane Harvey. Watt raised more than $37 million in 19 days for relief efforts after initially setting a goal of $200,000, which he started off with his own $100,000 pledge.
