Portion of LA1 to close for ongoing cleanup of train derailment

LA 1 from Robinson Road to Yearwood Road in south Caddo Parish will closed on Friday, May 24 from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. to allow for Union Pacific Railroad crews to continue clean-up operations following a train derailment that occurred on May 7, according to a news release from Louisiana DOTD.
The alternate route is I-49.
Area residents should exercise caution when driving, walking, or biking near an active construction zone.
