It seems Central Pennsylvania will take a break from the lovely weather that took over the first half of the week.

Severe thunderstorms may be headed our way Thursday and it could bring damaging winds, large hail, and possibly isolated tornadoes, according to AccuWeather

The sudden weather trifecta comes from heat and humidity that's likely fueling these thunderstorms.

Winds could get to 60 mph or more and may cause structural damage, downed trees and outages.

According to AccuWeather, "The storms may lead to times of reduced visibility along sections of interstates 70, 79, 80, 81, 83, 90 and 95 at a time when many people may be getting a jump start on holiday travel."

The National Weather Service predicts that western Pennsylvania may experience these thunderstorms between 11 a.m. and 4 p.m. The window for eastern Pennsylvania is 2 p.m. to 8 p.m.
