Industry reports record organic sales in 2018

The Organic Trade Association says U.S. organic sales pushed past the $50 billion mark to a new record.

Total organic sales were up more than six percent to $52.5 billion with new records set for organic food and non-food products.

Organic produce made up the largest category in the association’s survey, followed by dairy and eggs.
