We’re moving in two weeks… and this week we’re out of state for a World Finals tournament that my children are participating in. So when my daughter requested an At Home Spa Party for her 10th birthday, I knew it would have to be the “down and dirty” variety!

This party is easy to put together without any special crafting tools or really any creative ability, whatsoever. If you want a party that is fun for the kids and easy to prep and pull off? This DIY Spa Party is for you! (Affiliate links included for your convenience).

First, since it was only going to be me “working” the spa (and my 13 year old niece helped out), I limited the number of girls to 5. This just makes it easier to get to everyone, plus, it makes the party a little more affordable! Next, I headed to Walmart and the Dollar Store to see what I could find to create the goodie bags for the party, which would double as party activities. Here’s a list of what I ended up with:

Large plastic totes ($.99 each! SCORE!) to use for foot baths
Nail Polish
Face Masks
Emery Boards
Face Masks
Bath Bombs
Epsome Salt

I put the items inside a plastic tote, and set them up on top of towels in the living room for when the girls arrived. I used my Cricut and some glitter vinyl to personalize the totes.

I did create a “Menu of Services” that I also placed in the tote, just to look cute.

I did manicures, pedicures, face masks, cucumber eye treatments, hair chalk and make up.Affordable DIY at home Spa Party

After the spa services, we sat down for lunch – I made sandwiches served with veggie straws and fruit and sparkling water. Again, simple to make, but easy to look fun and dressed up!

We played a quick game of pin the horn on the unicorn, as my daughter requested it. The winner received a small gift.

Lastly we had store bought cupcakes with some custom toppers I created and opened gifts.

I had “spa music” playing the whole 3 hours of the party to create the “relaxing” atmosphere.

My daughter and her friends had a blast, felt pampered and were more than thrilled with their early afternoon of pampering!
