CollectPlus Beauty Haul

Sponsored content - Online shopping has saved me from more than one crisis this week alone (dramatic, moi? never) but there is very little that is more frustrating than waiting in all day for a delivery? Well yes actually, it could be slightly worse. What if you miss said eagerly anticipated parcel (those new shoes don't sign for themselves) due to work or other commitments? We've all been there. So to end time wasting, and to open yourself up to so many more merchants than perhaps your local high street, may I suggest you start utilising CollectPlus? It couldn't be easier nor speedier and is every online shoppers dream.

As it stands there are several large retailers already making the most of the CollectPlus services such as: ASOS, Holland and Barrett, L'Occitane and many other high-street favourites; I personally tend to favour John Lewis when using CollectPlus as they carry all my favourite beauty brands, which helps make my day-to-day job that little easier. Basically using CollectPlus is much like an other online shopping experience, except you are in complete control of when you receive your goods. With CollectPlus you get to search for local pick up points close to you (be that at home, work or further afield), and collect your parcel when it is most convenient to your schedule - as most CollectPlus stores are open early until late, you have more choice than ever.

Basically CollectPlus in a nutshell is: you order via your favourite online retailer, select CollectPlus as your chosen method of delivery, enter your postcode and select a CollectPlus pick up point, pay and wait for your confirmation text to pick your goods up at your own disposal. Not only is it super speedy (I'm talking next day delivery rates here) but frankly it is so convenient.

Speaking of convenience, is your beauty routine where it needs to be? Does the products you reach for on a daily basis save you time or are they slightly hindering you? Do you need - or perhaps want - to cut a few corners? Well I'm guessing if you are reading this post, you are a fairly busy person? So for that reason I put my CollectPlus order to good use (I'm such a good egg) and curated a beautiful selection of everyday beauty essentials that are: easy to use, store and perhaps more importantly can be used in a multitude of ways. Say hello to a little longer in bed each day...

My first suggestion is pretty much anything from the Estée Lauder The New Oh Naturelle collection; the two palettes feature a broad spectrum of neutral shades that can be used as eyeshadow, eye liner, blush, contour, setting powder and highlighting options. Essentially if you muster up the courage (and of course funds) to purchase both of these beautiful palettes, you may never need to as much as look in the general direction of neutral make-up tones.

I also highly rate the accompanying Estée Lauder The New Oh Naturelle Paint-On Liquid Lip Colours because again they are so adaptable due to the spectrum of natural toned hues available. My personal favourite is Nude Tease; a deeper nude that is simply beautiful on the lips but due to its Matte finish it can easily be buffed into the cheeks and eyes to create a pretty, warm bronze glow.

Speaking of bronzer, the new Benefit Hoola Caramel Bronzer may just be my new favourite multi-tasker, not only is the warm, medium tone fairly adaptable to all skin tones but it just happens to be the prettiest eyeshadow too. The beauty of this product is that due to its matte and natural finish, it can pretty much be applied to anywhere on the face and body (great for disguising tan lines), not to mention it is one of those rare shades that doubles up as a contour too!

We all have favourite MAC products but I feel some are better than others (I'm sure that is the case with every brand) and the new launches often drown out the real stars of the show. If you don't already own MAC Pro Longwear Paint Pot in Painterly, please stop what you are doing and grab your bank card. This clever cream product is not only a brilliant everyday eyeshadow but it can be used as a primer, concealer (as in to conceal the natural shade of the eye lid) and a nude eye liner to boot. I'd truly be lost without my little jar!

Admittedly the new MAC launches don't always grab my attention but the new MAC Hyper Real Glow Highlighter Palette did make me stop dead in my tracks. There are four colour-ways to chose from (I'm this close to purchasing them) but I have personally found that the Shimmy Peach palette is the best multi-tasker of the bunch. The three bronze-come-peach tones look great on all complexions as Highlighter but can be used in place of blush and/or eyeshadow too.

My last utterly convenient beauty product that every make-up bag should possess is the Bobbi Brown Art Stick. These clever, chunky pencils can be used to line and fill the lips in one quick go but that's not where the fun ends. Dependant on the shade you purchase, the Bobbi Brown Art Stick can be used on the eyes, cheeks and anywhere you can imagine. As it is a pencil it offers great control for precision application, I've lost count of how many shades I've bought over the years but my person favourite has to be Rich Nude. Try it you will be converted.
