BENTON TWP. -- A man who police said died early Sunday morning in a rollover vehicle crash has been identified by the Eaton County Sheriff's Office.

Police said Matt Casler, of Potterville, was pronounced dead at the scene at 1:46 a.m. Sunday near the intersection of Needmore Highway and Otto Road, according to a Facebook message the office posted on its page.

A preliminary investigation indicates Casler, the vehicle's lone occupant, drove a Cadillac Escalade eastbound on Needmore when it went off the roadway and rolled multiple times, the message said.

Messages left late Sunday afternoon with the sheriff's office weren't immediately returned.
