Expect traffic disruptions on Paso Monte Loop

Expect traffic disruption on Paso Monte Loop in Alto as road crews repair a 1.5 mile segment.

The work schedule is from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., May 21-22, and May 28-31, Lincoln County Road Supt. Jeff Honeycutt said.

Flagged single-lane closures will occur and speeds will be reduced through the repair section. No night or weekend work currently is scheduled and work also is dependent on weather, he said.

The projects aims to increase safety and mobility for motorists on the busy section of road by improving the roadway surface, Honeycutt said. When complete, the project will create a safe trip through the corridor for motorists.

FNF of Albuquerque was contracted by the county to complete the route. The project is scheduled for completion on June 4.
