Marc Jacobs Accomplice Collection

I’m really a fan of this brand – I can’t think of a single product that hasn’t delivered well – and the eye shadow palettes are just perfection. I’m not, however, much of a fan of powder, so the Instant Blurring Powder isn’t something I’d reach for. That said, it’s very light feeling (I can only think of one other that feels like this and it’s Dior) and a very unobtrusive way to take down shine or set your make up. The shade I have here is Ingenue which has a tiny amount of sparkle with the other shades having either brightening or warming qualities. If you do like a powder, you certainly won’t get any caking or weight with this. It’s £35 HERE and comes with a brush so you can do the lightest of sweeps.

I have two of the Concealer & Touch Up Sticks here just confirming that I’ve been missing out terribly by not liking ‘stick’ make up! They’re so creamy with not even a velvet feel – it’s lighter than that, and did an impressive job of hiding redness round my nose. Although I rarely use concealer under my eyes (and if I do, I use a liquid and add some serum) this did a better job than expected.

Once you have natural skin creasing in that area, almost everything is going to cling to the uneven-ness but because this is so creamy, it’s not so prone to do it. If I look in the magnifying mirror of doom, I can see it’s there, but in the normal mirror I can’t. Bearing in mind that nobody looks at you with magnifying eyes, so I feel safe in saying this is a good bet for use on faces that have skin creasing. It doesn’t even feel too expensive at £24 HERE but I have a feeling due to its buttery nature it will go down quickly. Non-affiliate is HERE.
