Hello, my name is Fergus and I’m the chief editor of Cloudwards.net, probably the fastest growing resource for online software reviews on the internet today. Currently we’re looking to expand our team with a few (budding) journalists who can add high-quality articles on a diverse range of tech-related topics.
If you’d like a full overview of everything we do, please check out our site at Cloudwards.net. We’re always happy to have people pitch article ideas to us, but right now we’re mostly interested in getting writers that are comfortable with using cloud storage at a serious level (having a Dropbox account doesn’t count) or who have some experience with any kind of cybersecurity. Other areas of interest are cloud migration and productivity tools.
Besides topical knowledge, we would like applicants to have a solid portfolio or at least a well-written application letter. We don’t really care what school you went to or how smart you think you are, we want to see what sparks your interest and how well you write. It pays to take a look around the site a bit before applying, that way you can see what we do.

Please make sure to add a few links to your published work (portfolio pages are always good, too, and give us your rate per word in U.S. dollars. Under “motivation” please fill in what you think makes you a good fit for the job. If we like what we see, we’ll get back to you.
Please note that we can only get back to shortlisted people, our outfit is pretty light on the admin staff (streamlining FTW) so if you don’t make the cut you won’t hear from us. The most common reasons we don’t get back to people are spelling mistakes, missing email addresses or broken portfolio links, so please make sure all that is on point before applying. Also on our ignore list are agencies and chancers who try and spin their trustpilot reviews as relevant experience.
