U.S. trade delegation in Taiwan

Nearly 50 U.S. farm groups and agribusinesses are on a trade mission in Taiwan.

USDA Foreign Ag Service Administrator Ken Isley is leading the delegation.

“The value of this outreach activity is the great partnership we continue to have with the U.S. ag industry, and with our state and cooperator organizations.”

Taiwan climbed into the top-10 as a customer of U.S. ag and food products with an 18 percent increase in imports between 2017 and 2018.

Representatives of the American Soybean Association, U.S. Soybean Export Council and U.S. Grains Council are part of the trip.

Also participating are members of the:

(MN) Minnesota Soybean Research and Promotion Council

(MI) Cherry Marketing Institute and King Orchards of Central Lake

(IL) Clarkson Grain Company of Cerro Gordo and Hang Tung Resources of Glenview

(OH) East-West International Group of Moreland Hills
