Milk futures higher, cash dairy mixed

Milk futures on the Chicago Mercantile continued higher Tuesday supported by improving stocks, exports, and a bullish milk production report.

April Class III milk remained unchanged at $15.92.  May up a nickel at $15.87.  June up two cents at $16.06.  July six cents higher at $16.31.  August through December contracts were four to seven cents higher.

Dry whey down $0.0025 at $0.3350.  Four trades were made ranging from $0.3350 to $0.3375.

Blocks down $0.0025 at $1.6725. 

Barrels unchanged at $1.5750. 

Butter down $0.0075 at $2.2625.  Seven trades were made ranging from $2.2550 to $2.2650.

Nonfat dry milk up $0.0125 at $1.0125.  Seven trades were made ranging from $1.0050 to $1.0125.
