Day Shift

Dale Hibpshman, 40, homeless, was arrested for a Magistrate Court Warrant for failure to appear or pay after officers made contact with him at Lowe’s Grocery. Hibpshman was incarcerated in OCDC and is to appear in Magistrate Court when summoned.

Stephanie Hann, 32, of the 2400 block of Pecan, was arrested for two Municipal Court Warrants for failure to appear and pay after officers made contact with her at the above address. Hann was incarcerated in OCDC and is to appear in Municipal Court when summoned.

Jaylen Trujillo, 23, of Tularosa, was arrested for a Magistrate Court Warrant for breaking and entering, attempt to commit custodial interference and assault against a household member and a State of New Mexico Corrections Department Arrest Order for violation of conditions of probation after officers made contact with him at the Adult Probation Office. Trujillo was incarcerated in OCDC and is to appear in Magistrate Court when summoned.

Steve Ortega, 50, homeless, was arrested for trespassing after officers located him in Wal-Mart in violation of a no trespass order. Ortega was released on an unsecured bond and is to appear in Municipal Court when summoned. 

Anthony Cochran, 26, of the 3000 block of Shawnee Trail, was arrested for a Magistrate Court Warrant for sexual exploitation of children (distribution) and sexual exploitation of children (possession Under 13). Cochran was incarcerated in OCDC and is to appear in Magistrate Court when summoned.

Liza Rosales, 39, of the 1500 block of Aspen, was arrested for a Magistrate Court warrant for trafficking methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia after officer made contact with her at District Court. Rosales was incarcerated in OCDC and is to appear in Magistrate Court when summoned.

Night Shift

At approximately 5 p.m., a Dollar General employee reported a shoplifting that had just occurred. It was report that two females entered the business and gathered merchandise, paid for some and stole the rest fleeing the business on foot. One of the females is described as white with blond hair wearing a dark color tank top and blue jeans. The other as white with brown hair wearing a white bandana, blue jeans and wearing a dark color poncho. Investigation continues. 

Marina Rice of Tularosa reported her 15-year-old daughter as a runaway last seen at the Otero County Fair Ground at the carnival at 12:40 a.m. She is described a Native American, long brown hair, brown eyes, medium skin tone last seen wearing black Nike pull over with gold Air emblem on the front, gray shirt wind rider tour, dark blue jeans with holes, and black Vans shoes. was entered into NCIC as a runaway.

At approximately 9:45 p.m., officers responded to a residence located on the 2200 block of Cherry Hill Court in reference to a missing person. It was reported Nicholas Massimino, age 20, who is autistic was last seen approximately 12:30 p.m. and operating a gold colored Honda Accord. At approximately 10:52 p.m., Officers located the vehicle on 1st Street near the front entrance of Foot Hills Park. A search of the park was completed with negative results and New Mexico State Police was contacted to coordinate a Search & Rescue of the area and the foot hills. Investigation on going.
