Flash flood watch issued for central Pa., National Weather Service says

One to 2 inches of rain could fall, the National Weather Service says.

A flash flood watch is in effect from Friday afternoon through Saturday morning for central Pennsylvania, according to the National Weather Service.

Included in the watch area are Adams, Cumberland, Dauphin, Franklin, Lancaster, Lebanon and York counties.

The forecast calls for heavy showers and thunderstorms, the National Weather Service says. One to 2 inches of rain could fall, and localized flooding is possible.
