It’s hard to believe that it’s already April! It seems like just a few short weeks ago we were celebrating the New Year.

Did you make any New Year’s resolutions? And if you did, how are they coming along?

Here on the technical side of the Strategic Alliances Team, we set a goal to deliver new comprehensive, relevant reference architectures every quarter. You can check out my February blog for details. I’m pleased to report that less than four months in we already have eight reference architectures live with several thousand combined page views! Check them out today on our reference architecture (RA) page.

You’ll find RA content for apps and desktops, networking, and secure file sharing among other topics. Every document contains architectural diagrams, component overviews, deployment considerations, use cases, and much more. Many even feature the diagrams available for download in PowerPoint format so you can customize them to suit your needs. We’ve also created a third-party reference architecture page where we provide a consolidated list of Citrix-related reference architectures that are created and hosted by our industry partners.

So where are we going from here? What RAs do we have planned for the rest of the year? I can’t disclose all the details, and schedules and commitment are always subject to change. But here are just some of the future RAs we’re currently planning for the rest of 2019:

  • Virtual Apps and Desktops Service on AWS
  • Virtual Apps and Desktops Service on Google CloudPlatform
  • Virtual Apps and Desktops Service on Oracle Cloud
  • Microsoft Teams Integration
  • Multi-site StoreFront with Citrix ADC
  • App Layering
  • Analytics Service
  • Citrix Hypervisor

We’re also planning to launch the initial deployment guides on Citrix Tech Zone this year. They will provide step-by-step guidance on specific aspects of your digital workspace solution. Complete with screenshots and relevant background info, these guides will further help to accelerate your deployments.

Lastly, I want to mention the topic of feedback. Feedback is critically important to ensure we are hitting the mark with the content we create. My ask to everyone reading this blog is please talk to us. Drop us a line in the comments below, comment directly on any of our RA pages, or use the feedback submission form or new article submission form. What topics would you like to see covered? What additional use cases should we add? Has a given reference architecture proven particularly helpful to you? If so, let us know!

Until next time, happy architecting your solutions!
