Video series introduces workers of Apollo and ensuing space programs

Fifty years ago, the United States was just three months away from making its attempt to land humans on the moon.

Between now and July 16, FLORIDA TODAY will be bringing you the stories of people who worked on the Apollo program.

Along the way, we'll also introduce you to people who have made their mark in space in the years since the historic moon landing.

As part of this effort, FLORIDA TODY is partnering with Trench Media to provide a series of videos introducing you to some of those people.

FLORIDA TODAY's series is called "The People of Apollo," and Trench media's series is called "50/50 Lunar Legends: Tales of the epic journey to space, and those on Earth who lived it."

Each week we'll introduce a new story. Some are tales from afar while many are stories from your neighbors right here in Brevard.

Join us on our journey as we look back at one of the greatest feats in human history.
