Do you capture your adventures in Alamogordo via social media?

The Alamogordo Adventures Action Team hopes Alamogordo residents will share their best moments using #AdventuresForLife in an effort to promote the city as a "great place to live, work and play."

“From morning hikes at the Oliver Lee State Park to a quick cup of coffee at Plateau Espresso, there are so many everyday life adventures here in Alamogordo,” said Alamogordo Communications and Marketing Administrator, Michelle Brideaux.

“We need everyone’s help to show that Alamogordo is a great place to work, live, and play.”

The Adventures Action Team is a committee of the Otero County Department of Economic Development.

Area businesses, nonprofit organizations, civic groups, and residents helped re-brand the City of Alamogordo in 2017, with highlights of the city as a place of adventure, good weather and high quality of life.

Private donations totaling $100,000 and a May 2018 expenditure by the Alamogordo City Commissioners of $450,000 from the city’s general fund helped launch the re-branding effort.

The submitted moments would be shared via the Team's social media channels.

Selfies, photos and stories of local adventurers require only a @AlamogordoLife tag on Facebook or Instagram.
